This Eppendorf FA-45-32-5-PCR fixed-angle rotor with a 4 x 8-tube PCR strip tube array and aerosol-tight lid is for use with micro centrifuge model 5424. The rotor has a maximum rotational speed of 14,680 RPM, relative centrifugal force (ruff) of 18,615 x g, and is used for centrifugation of standard application lab samples. The rotor has a 4 x 8-tube PCR (polymerase chain reaction) strip tube array (32 x 0.2 ml PCR tubes) and provides support for thin-walled PCR tubes. A certified aerosol-tight lid is included for use with hazardous samples. This fixed-angle rotor is an accessory for use with Eppendorf centrifuge model 5424, which spins biological lab samples at high speeds to separate cellular material into component parts.
