The helmet has adjustable knobs on both sides of the head which should let you adjust the size to fit your head. The picatinny rail feels a little on the thin side but was able to hold a flashlight attachment with no problems. Lastly, there are optional plates and assorted lenses for your preferences. ?The defogger takes 3 AAA batteries at the forehead underneath the padding. There's a knot on the right side of the helmet by your war that adjusts the strength of the fan. I recommend setting it around 1/3 of the way because after that the fan gets very loud. 1/3 setting is still pretty quiet and I felt a slight breeze on my face. ?On the topic of size, I wear a size Large motorcycle helmet. However, I've removed the strap and all the front padding and it fit my head like a glove. The removal of the eyese pad actually improved visibility while the rear head pad pushed the helmet towards my face. Very comfortable. ?As for safety: i have not personally tried to test it but there are videos up online of a guy who purposely shoots airsoft guns at this helmet. The only time it broke was when he fired a kriss vector point blank on full auto at one lens. It took about 6-8 BBs going at 350fps for one to crack. It took the entire capacity (i think) of a minigun to dent the face plate of the helmet point blank also.
