You'll find authenticity and genuine craftsmanship at the heart ofwhat we do.Your sign starts as a wood slat we mill, cut to size, and sand to a smoothfinish. It is then printed directly on the wood surface using an environmentallysafe method we developed after years of attempts to perfect. This process blends the image and the wood seamlessly allowing thenatural grain of the wood to remain visible from behind the design.Every sign we make will be unique in its own way given the naturalcharacteristics of the wood. Each piece is made by hand in the Great State of Tennessee from locally milled, hardwood timber.Our single slat wood signs feature a horizontal keyhole across the backallowing for easy placement on any wall whether you prefer one or twonails for display. We suggest using two small finishing nails for ourhorizontal signs to maintain balance.Multiple slat signs are joined together with two runners using both glueand nails to create a lasting bond between the materials. A length ofgenuine leather is pulled between the runners and knotted on bothends for use in hanging. The smaller, 4x4 series likewise make use of a length of leather that istied into a loop and pulled through a pre-drilled hole. The knot is synchedinside the hole allowing the sign to sit flat on a table or other flatsurface without interference caused by the leather. Each sign is then thoroughly hand sanded and branded using a cattlebrand to burn our logo in the back. Your sign is made by hand in the Great State of Tennessee from the locallymilled, hardwood timber that the boys and I use to create our offerings. The image is fade resistant. We recommend indoor use.
