-SPECIFICATION: AWS A5.1 ASME SFA 5.1/E6013. 60,000 psi min. yield strength. Core rod diameters and electrode lengths: 1/8" x 14" and 3/32" x 12". Typical deposited chemical composition (wt%): C=0.08, Mn=0.50, Si=0.40, P=0.015, S=0.012, Fe-balance.
-FEATURES AND APPLICATIONS: Runs on AC or DCEP (reverse) polarity or DCEN (straight) polarity. Light to medium penetrating. Easy steady arc with excellent wetting and ease of operation. Smooth and flat beads with low spatter. Easy slag removal. For sheet metal, irregular short welds that change positions. Good for general, all-purpose applications and joints with poor fit-up. All-position welding.
