Thule's Prologue Bike Mount provides an affordable and safe way to transport your bike to trailheads close by and further afield so you can save your extra cash for your next two-wheeled toy. To make sure your current bike stays safe, however, the Prologue uses a sleek, fork-mounting design with a secure, dual-lock mechanism to lock the bike to your carrier, then the carrier to your vehicle. Thule kept aerodynamics in mind when designing the carrier, aiming to minimize drag as much as possible, and made it compatible with bikes with up to a 48-inch wheelbase. If you're running Plus tires on your bike, you'll want to swap them out for something 2. 6in or narrower to use the Prologue, but disc brakes and different suspension combinations, as long as they're using a standard 9mm axle, can all be accommodated.
