The BubbleBum meets and exceeds the safety requirements of the FMVSS 213 (Federal Motor Safety Standard for USA). As with all booster seats, it is designed for use with a standard 3 point adult seat belt that has been approved to ECE Regulation 15 or equivalent. The material we use is similar to that of a lifebelt making it durable and extra safe. The air bladder contains memory foam which add structural integrity and comfort. Continual exposure will cause the materials to deteriorate and the seat will deflate.
