The simplest and most reliable method of locking cargo freight loads is using E track tie-down trailer straps. They are simple to use and dependable.

Cam Buckle Tie-Down Strap with E Track Spring Fitting End Attachments

It's easy to use an E track cam strap. Both ends of the strap are equipped with E track spring fittings, which get clipped into slots on horizontal or vertical E track rails. To tighten the strap around the load, turn the buckle over and thread the webbing through while pressing the thumb release; pull the strap to the desired length and let go of the thumb release. To loosen the strap, press the lever and slide the strap out.
